   Hello all,

   I have daguerreotype fuming boxes for sale! I just finished a run in Eastern Black Walnut - they're in stock and ready to ship. $750 a kit! [+FOB Oakland, Ca]

   My kits include one box assembly with etched glass slide, chemistry dish, and spring seal mechanism - as well as inserts for 1/2, 1/4, and 1/6 plates [they accommodate full plate with no insert]. For typical Iodine / Bromine process, you will need two kits.

   These boxes are great. I had a pair made by Steve a while back and they are holding up fine. Steve uses all top quality material in making the box and I haven't had a problem with them. Not only do they work well, they look like the real deal. If you are into that old look, you can't go wrong with these boxes. Also they have a weight to them, that will stay put while you pull or push the glass slide. I highly recommend Steve's box if you don't want to go through the trouble of making your own. Also, since I'm on the topic, Eric Mertens is the guy to take a Dag tutorial with. Very reasonable priced too:
